Meeting the future of Forest
Since January, Mr Straw and the Forest transition team have visited more than 700 Year 5 students across local primary schools as part of the school's successful Headteacher Roadshow programme.
The roadshows provide an invaluable opportunity to engage with prospective students ahead of their move to secondary education, helping to build confidence and excitement about the transition. Students were able to learn more about life at Forest, ask questions and gain first-hand insight into what they can expect when they join the school.
More than 100 Forest students also took part in the programme, sharing their own experiences and offering a student perspective on school life, opportunities and achievements.
A huge thank you to all the staff and students at Forest who helped make the roadshows such a success, inspiring the next generation of Forest students.
