Horsham Learning Alliance Consultation Opens

We are excited to share that the formation of the Horsham Learning Alliance (HLA), a new multi-academy trust (MAT) in Horsham, has taken an important step forward. Following approval from the Department for Education in November 2024, we are now in the consultation phase and invite the local community to share their feedback on our plans.

The Horsham Learning Alliance will bring together The College of Richard Collyer and The Forest School as founding partners, combining an 11-16 secondary school and a sixth form college to serve over 3,600 learners. The new Trust is set to launch in September 2025, and we are eager to work collaboratively with the community to shape its future.

Our Vision for the Horsham Learning Alliance

The Horsham Learning Alliance aims to build on the strengths of its founding schools while creating new opportunities for learners in Horsham and surrounding areas. With plans to grow into an all-through educational provider, the HLA hopes to include early years, primary, secondary, and post-16 education in the future.

We are committed to fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture, ensuring strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community. Transparency and engagement remain central to our approach as we move forward.
